I purchased my first Bullworker in 1974 (17 yrs old) and wanted a way to build muscle size without all the hardware... It exceeded all reported expectations... I went from 160 lbs no shape to 188 lbs with muscle and strength with added running, push ups and to keep my muscles long and strong I succeeded in my efforts to gain size and strength...and a great base that has sustained until now at age 53... I recommend this equipment for its ease of use, portability and results for anyone wishing to build a strong base.

While talking to John Hughes on the phone about replacing my old brown handle for a new classic, he recommended the Steel Bow for me. (I'm 53, 6' and 165 lbs.)When I opened it I thought man this is too small for me. Was I wrong! I like the 3 spring option. (Doubt I'll ever get to the heavy spring though) (If you get one, a little spray silicone in the tube makes the thing smoother to use.) I don't have a set routine, might use it for 10 minutes and sometimes 20. I've already lost an inch off my waist and feeling great. Firmed up my abs and arms and helped a bunch with back and shoulder pain. Thanks John for your time, advice and for a great inexpensive product.

The year is about 1968 and I saw an ad. in a UK paper for Bullworker and bought one. Green handled model. The brochure had pictures of a German guy (Gert . . . something I think) plus lots of an incredibly fit young David Prowse using the machine (Darth Vader). Have always rated these things very highly (now 60!)

I got my first Bullworker as a Christmas gift in 1975. I have been using them ever since and, at age 58, feel really strong and fit. I have been moving a lot of furniture (my move and daughter move) and helped a friend finish a basement this year. I bought a new full size Bullworker this year from Bow Fitness and the service was great. I have lifted weights a little here and there but really prefer Bullworker resistance training from my home.

As a 35 year Bullworker user, the Steel-Bow has shown me there is a lot more to the Bullworker than isometrics. The Iso-Motion has given me a different perspective on fitness and at age 52, I feel better and look better. The cable grips are fantastic.

I've had the Bullworker Classic for about a year now. It is a very good piece of equipment. You can work as easy or as hard as you wish. Thanks again for a great product!
